These homeowners have been living in their home for over 30 years, and it was finally time to transform their primary bathroom into the timeless retreat they’d been dreaming of. We’ve been gradually updating other areas of their home as well, like the living room fireplace and built-in bookshelves, a refreshed dining room, new windows, a stunning new front door, all-new flooring throughout, and a completely reimagined laundry room. The homeowners wanted to preserve the traditional charm of their home while making classic, elevated upgrades that would stand the test of time. They loved the original layout with double sinks and a makeup area in between, but wanted to eliminate the awkward drop in height. So we gutted everything: removed the dated, low vanity and the overhead soffit to open up the space. Now, the bathroom features a gorgeous white rift oak custom vanity, and a brand-new built-in unit with custom reeded glass panels in place of the old storage closet. The new lighting also mirrors this reeded style, creating a cohesive and elegant aesthetic. We added a luxurious soaking tub oasis, complete with a layered light feature and a quartz ledge perfect for candles, greenery, or a glass of wine. Three separate beveled mirrors above the vanity add dimension and beauty. The shower is truly a standout, featuring large-format tiles with thin grout lines and a pebble floor the homeowners selected themselves.
